Best players of Kazakhstan National League round 25

International Center Robert Pan (202-C-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Irbis Almaty and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 28-year old center had a double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds, while his team crushed Astana Ac. (#5, 12-12) with 22-point margin 89-67. It allowed Irbis to consolidate first place in the Kazakhstan National League. Irbis has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 23-1. It's Pan's second year at Irbis and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Pan has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 8.0rpg) and averages solid 66.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international point guard Alexandr Orazbekov (180-PG-2002) of Astana Academy. Orazbekov impressed basketball fans with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Astana Ac. lost that game 70-84 to the higher-ranked Irbis (#1, 23-1). Astana Ac. managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 12-12 record is not bad and everything may still change. Orazbekov is a newcomer at Astana Ac. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Irbis' star - American Lorenzo Anderson (190-G-2000). Anderson scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was another key player of Irbis Almaty, helping his team with a 89-67 easy win against the lower-ranked Astana Ac. (#5, 12-12). Many experts and fans count Irbis as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 23 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Anderson has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.2ppg (6th best). He also has 2.2spg and a FGP of 54.1%.
