Dzhunusov's 35-point game gives him Higher League Player of the Week award

24-year old swingman Temirlan Dzhunusov (192-G/F-1999) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Astana Tigers-KazATU and receives a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 21.
He had the game-high 35 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Tigers-KazATU in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Bars (#4, 14-7) 73-69. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Tigers-KazATU to take over top position in the Kazakhstan Higher League. Tigers-KazATU has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 18-2. In the team's last game Dzhunusov had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It's his second year at Tigers-KazATU and it's hard to imagine this team without him.
