American Center Jai Williams (206-C-1995) had a great game in the last round for Aktobe, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 24.
The 28-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 19 rebounds, while his team crushed Irtysh (#8, 1-25) with 19-point margin 96-77. Aktobe maintains the 4th position in Kazakhstan National League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Aktobe will need more victories to improve their 14-10 record. Williams turned to be Aktobe's top player in his first season with the team. Former Saint Joseph's University star has very solid stats this year. Williams is in league's top in points (9th best: 16.8ppg), rebounds (6th best: 8.1rpg) and averages impressive 62.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Nazim Adylbekov (200-F-2001) of MBK Irtysh Pavlodar. Adylbekov had a very good evening with a double-double of 19 points and 25 rebounds. Bad luck as Irtysh lost that game 86-94 to slightly higher-ranked Caspiy Aktau (#7, 6-18). Irtysh managed to keep the same 8th spot in the standings. 25 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Irtysh managed to get this year. Adylbekov is a newcomer at Irtysh, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Russian forward Aleksandr Kalashnikov (196-F-2002) of BK Caspiy Aktau (#7). Kalashnikov got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds and four assists. He was a key player of Caspiy Aktau, leading his team to a 94-86 win against slightly lower-ranked Irtysh (#8, 1-25). Kalashnikov has individually a great season in Kazakhstan. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.8ppg (4th best).
