The most exciting game of round 17 in the National League took place in Almaty. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 6th ranked Almaty L. (6-10) to seventh ranked Caspiy Aktau (4-14) 84-81 on Thursday evening. American point guard Keshon Tabb (180-1999, college: Rust) came up with 23 points, 6 assists and 5 steals for Irtysh in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tobol have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 12-6 record having just one point less than leader Irbis. Irtysh lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 17 lost games.
