Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Round 9 most important game was a victory of Barsy 2 over 5th ranked ChelSU 85-80 on Monday night. Barsy 2 made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was a good game for Alisher Muratuly (175-2007) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists. Guard Bolatbek Baktygali (185-2006) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Guard Dmitriy Luchko (193-1997) answered with a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds for ChelSU. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Barsy 2 (3-6) moved-up to fifth place. ChelSU lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Karaganda.
An interesting game for Shymkent (7-2) which hosted in Shymkent second-best Turan (6-3). Third ranked Shymkent managed to get a 12-point victory 100-88. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Turan. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Forward Aleksei Vereshagin (200-1992) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds for the winners and Anuar Shakirov chipped in 29 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Alymzhan Maksutov (180-1994) with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Shymkent have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Turan dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Bars.
Higher League top team - Tigers-KazATU (9-0) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Karaganda (2-7) 68-49. Alexey Alyonushka nailed 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Pavel Brukhovets came up with 16 points and 5 rebounds for Karaganda in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Tigers-KazATU have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Newly promoted Tigers-KazATU maintains first place with 9-0 record. Karaganda at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with ChelSU.

In the last game of round 9 bottom-ranked Altay was smashed by Bars on the road 87-61.




ChelSU - Barsy 2 80-85

Shymkent - Turan 100-88

An interesting game for Shymkent (7-2) which hosted in Shymkent second-best Turan (6-3). Third ranked Shymkent managed to get a 12-point victory 100-88. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Turan. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Shymkent dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Turan's 34. Shymkent players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Forward Aleksei Vereshagin (200-1992) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds for the winners and point guard Anuar Shakirov (180-2000) chipped in 29 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Alymzhan Maksutov (180-1994) with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and swingman Darkhan Tanirbergen (192-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. Five Shymkent and four Turan players scored in double figures. Shymkent have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Turan dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Bars.

Bars - Altay 87-61

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Bars (6-3) crushed bottom-ranked Altay (1-8) in Petropavlovsk 87-61 on Monday. Bars dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Altay's 28. They outrebounded Altay 62-28 including a 34-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bars looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Forward Sergey Dyatlik (194-1997) nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and power forward Maksim Nalogov (198-1994) accounted for 19 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Sergey Ivanov (178-1998) came up with 10 points and 4 assists and guard Evgeniy Gorev (185-2007) added 11 points respectively for Altay in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bars moved-up to third place, which they share with Turan. Altay lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost.

Tigers-KazATU dominated down low during the game scoring 38 of its points in the paint compared to Karaganda's 16. They outrebounded Karaganda 45-28 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Alexey Alyonushka (190-1995) nailed 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and swingman Eset Zharkylov (195-1998) accounted for 8 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Pavel Brukhovets (175-2001) came up with 16 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Medeu Aukesh (195-2005) added 4 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Karaganda in the defeat.
