Astana signs Haase just out of college

BK Astana (National League) signed 25-year old Chilean international forward Felipe Haase (206cm-111kg-1998) for upcoming 2023-24 season. Haase just graduated from Southern Miss (NCAA). In 33 games he had 15.0ppg, 6.1rpg and 3.2apg last season. He helped them to win the regular season. 2022-23 was a great year as he was named to All-Sun Belt Second Team and NABC Division I All-District 23 Second Team.
Haase started his college career at University of South Carolina (NCAA). Then he moved to Mercer University (NCAA). Haase's high school career he had spent at Miami Christian Academy in Miami, FL.
He has been also a member of Chilean international program for some years. Haase has regularly played for Chilean senior team since 2018 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2016.
He represented Chile at the South American Championship U21 in Salta (Argentina) five years ago.
As mentioned above he is just out of college, so it will be his first season as a professional player.
