Irbis tab rookie Lorenzo Anderson in his first year in pro basketball

Irbis Almaty (National League) landed American 190cm guard Lorenzo Anderson for the upcoming season. Anderson just graduated from Peru State College (NAIA). In 33 games he averaged an impressive 15.7ppg, 3.1rpg, and 1.8apg last season. He helped them to make it to the HAAC Tournament final after they ended the regular season as the second best team.

Anderson started his college career at Columbus State University (NCAA2). Then he moved to Judson College (NAIA). Anderson's high school career he had spent at Miller Grove in Lithonia, GA.

So his pro career will start in Kazakhstan.
