Albrant's 28 points and 8 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award

24-year old center Daniel Albrant (205-C-1998) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Almaty L. and receives a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 33.
He had the game-high 28 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Almaty L. in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Aktobe 2 (#11, 5-28) with 30-point margin 100-70. Almaty L. maintains the 3rd position in Kazakhstan Higher League. They are still close to the very top. Almaty L. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 28-5 record. In the team's last game Albrant had a remarkable 81.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Almaty L.'s top player in his first season with the team. Albrant has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 18.5ppg) and averages solid 67.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Eset Zharkylov (195-F/G-1998) of Gotobeles. He is a swingman in his first season at Gotobeles. In the last game Zharkylov recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Gotobeles lost that game 71-78 to the higher-ranked Irtysh (#5, 15-18). Gotobeles is still in a red zone at 9th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 11-22 record. Zharkylov is a newcomer at Gotobeles and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Stanislav Rovovoy (198-F-1992) of league's second-best Bars. Rovovoy scored 18 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Bars, leading his team to a 85-68 easy win against #1 ranked Shymkent in a game of the week. Bars is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 29-4 record is not that bad... Rovovoy has a very solid season. In 25 games in Kazakhstan he scored 10.8ppg. He also has 6.8rpg and FGP: 52.6%.
