Best players of Kazakhstan Higher League round 32

Eset Zharkylov

Eset Zharkylov (195-F/G-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Gotobeles and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 32.
The 24-year old swingman had a double-double of 29 points and twenty seven rebounds, while his team beat Aktobe 2 (#11, 5-27) 91-84. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Gotobeles maintains the 9th position in Kazakhstan Higher League. Gotobeles is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 11-21 record. Zharkylov turned to be Gotobeles' top player in his first season with the team. Zharkylov has impressive league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 13.8rpg. Zharkylov is in league's top in and averages solid 1.3bpg and 59.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Artem Parfenov (198-F-1998) of second-ranked Bars. Parfenov impressed basketball fans with 36 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he led Bars to another comfortable win 94-81 over slightly lower-ranked Karaganda (#4, 21-11) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Bars consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team lost just four games this season, while they won 28 matches. Parfenov is a newcomer at Bars and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Bars' star - Maksim Nalogov (198-F/C-1994). Nalogov showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and nine assists in the last round. He was another key player of Bars, helping his team with a 94-81 easy win against #4 ranked Karaganda. Bars is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 28-4 record is not that bad... Nalogov has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 32 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.8ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 12.3rpg (2nd best) and assists with 5.0apg (7th best). He also has 2.4spg, 1.1bpg and FGP: 50.4%.
