An interesting game for Almaty L. (23-4) which played road game in Petropavlovsk against second-best Bars (23-4). Third ranked Almaty L. had an easy win 110-67. Almaty L. dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Bars' 24. Almaty L. forced 25 Bars turnovers and outrebounded them 36-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 39 assists comparing to just 22 passes made by Bars' players. It was a good game for point guard Daniil Severgin (183-2005) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 31 points, 11 rebounds, 16 assists and 8 steals.
