Best players of Kazakhstan Higher League round 23 (by Hoops Agents)

Alexey Alyonushka (190-F-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Karaganda and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 23.
The 27-year old forward had a double-double of 32 points and ten rebounds, while his team beat Tigers-KazATU (#6, 11-14) 99-90. Karaganda maintains the 4th position in Kazakhstan Higher League. The third best performed player last round was Anuar Shakirov (180-PG-2000) of top-ranked Shymkent. Shakirov showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, six rebounds and six assists in the last round. He was a key player of Shymkent, leading his team to a 78-68 win against #4 ranked Karaganda in a game of the week. Many experts and fans count Shymkent as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 24 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings.
