Dzhunusov's 34-point game gives him Higher League Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Temirlan Dzhunusov

23-year old swingman Temirlan Dzhunusov (192-G/F-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Tigers-KazATU and receives a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had the game-high 34 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Tigers-KazATU in his team's victory, helping them to beat Irtysh (10-11) 76-67. Tigers-KazATU maintains the 6th position in Kazakhstan Higher League. Tigers-KazATU is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-11 record. In the team's last game Dzhunusov had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Tigers-KazATU's top player in his first season with the team. Dzhunusov has impressive league stats. Third place about best performers goes to guard Baynazar Omarov (185-G-2004) of Aktobe 2 (#11). Omarov showcased his all-around game by recording 15 points, eleven rebounds (!!!) and nine assists in the last round.
