What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game in Astana supposed to be quite interesting. Second ranked Shymkent (16-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Tigers-KazATU (7-10). Shymkent smashed Tigers-KazATU 105-78 on Tuesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tigers-KazATU. Shymkent dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Tigers-KazATU's 38. They outrebounded Tigers-KazATU 44-31 including 33 on the defensive glass. Shymkent looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Anuar Shakirov (180-2000) who scored 29 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Forward Balabiy Agabek (190-1996) chipped in 19 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Center Rustam Lukmanov (197-1999) produced 23 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Shymkent have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Bars. Newly promoted Tigers-KazATU keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Barsy 2 and Gotobeles.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Oskemen. Local Altay (1-16) was outscored by fifth ranked Irtysh (9-8) 96-61. Vadim Bagrov (187-2000) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds. Shahmurat Satkeev contributed with 13 points, 8 assists and 8 steals for the winners. point guard Sergey Ivanov (178-1998) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds for Altay. Altay's coach Sergey Boriseev gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Irtysh maintains fifth place with 9-8 record. Altay lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost.

In the last game of round 17 Karaganda crushed Aktobe 2 in a road game 89-67.
The best stats of 17th round was 32 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals by Alexey Alyonushka of Karaganda.



Altay - Irtysh 61-96

Aktobe 2 - Karaganda 67-89

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Aktobe 2 (3-14) was crushed at home by fourth ranked Karaganda (12-5) 89-67. Karaganda dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Aktobe 2's 36. Karaganda forced 32 Aktobe 2 turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Forward Alexey Alyonushka (190-1995) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals. Guard Dias Zhambeisov (185-2001) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Karaganda's coach Alexander Tyutyunik felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Nikita Lytyh (196-2004) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and guard Kairat Utegen (189-2004) added 20 points and 5 assists in the effort for Aktobe 2. Four Aktobe 2 players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Karaganda. They maintain fourth place with 12-5 record. Aktobe 2 lost their tenth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost.
