Kazakhstan Higher League round 13 best performance: Eset Zharkylov

Swingman Eset Zharkylov (195-F/G-1998) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Gotobeles, receiving a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 19 rebounds, while his team outclassed ChelSU (#10, 4-11) with 28-point margin 93-65. Thanks to this victory Gotobeles moved-up to the 7th position in Kazakhstan Higher League. Gotobeles is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-9 record. Zharkylov turned to be Gotobeles' top player in his first season with the team. Eset Zharkylov has solid league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 14.5rpg. Zharkylov is in league's top in and averages impressive 1.8bpg and 63.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Maksim Nalogov (198-F/C-1994) of league's leader Bars. Nalogov had a very good evening with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Bars to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Barsy 2 (#6, 6-9) 80-45. Of course Bars still keep the league's top spot. His team belongs to top of the standings with 14-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Nalogov is one of the most experienced players at Bars and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.1ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 11.4rpg and 4.2apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Artem Pedko (191-G-2000) of ChelSU (#10). Pedko scored 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Despite Pedko's great performance ChelSU lost 48-103 to the higher-ranked Almaty L. (#2, 13-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Pedko has individually a great season in Kazakhstan. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.1ppg (3rd best).
