Nalogov's double-double lands him Higher League Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Maksim Nalogov

28-year old power forward Maksim Nalogov (198-F/C-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Bars and receives a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Shymkent (11-1) 83-71. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Bars maintains the 2nd position in Kazakhstan Higher League. Bars has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 11-1. Nalogov has many years of experience at Bars, through which he has constantly improved. Nalogov has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.6ppg. Nalogov is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 12.6rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 3.0spg.

Second best performed player last round was Alexey Alyonushka (190-F-1995) of Karaganda. He is a forward in his first season at Karaganda. In the last game Alyonushka recorded impressive double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Karaganda to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Caspiy Aktau (#7, 5-7) 73-45. Karaganda's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 8-4 record is not bad at all. Alyonushka is a newcomer at Karaganda and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 10.8rpg and 4.3apg.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Eset Zharkylov (195-F/G-1998) of Gotobeles (#6). Zharkylov showcased his all-around game by recording 13 points, twenty two rebounds (!!!) and six assists in the last round. Despite Zharkylov's great performance Gotobeles lost 71-79 to slightly higher-ranked Irtysh (#5, 6-6). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Zharkylov has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.3rpg (#1 in league). He also has 2.0bpg and FGP: 59.3%.
