Aktobe tabs Inga Manucharyan

D1 newcomer Aktobe inked 22-year old Armenian 178cm guard Inga Manucharyan for upcoming season. Manucharyan is a well-known player in Kazakhstan Kazakhstan as she played most recently at Okzhetpes. In 33 Kazakhstan games in Kazakhstan she averaged 11.4ppg, 5.8rpg, 3.5apg (top 3) and 1.5spg last season. She helped them to make it to the Kazakhstan League final after they ended regular season as second best team. A very good season in her career as she was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Kazakhstan League Guard of the Year and League Player of the Week (2 times).
The most of previous (2020-21) season she spent at Caspiy Aktau where in 25 Kazakhstan games she had very impressive stats: 15.8ppg, 7.9rpg, 2.9apg and 1.6spg in that year. Manucharyan contributed to her team winning the League title. It was a very successful season in her career as she was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Kazakhstan League Finals MVP and League Player of the Week (3 times). She also played for Yerevan Basket in Armenian D1. In 9 games she recorded also remarkable stats: 29.0ppg, 12.7rpg, 3.8apg and 3.2spg in that year.
Manucharyan represented Armenia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 Division C in Valleta (Malta) five years ago. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 4 games: Score-2 (24.0ppg), Reb-3 (9.8rpg), Assists-5 (3.0apg), 1.8spg, FGP-2 (53.8%), 3PT-2 (41.9%), FT: 71.4%.
She has played also professionally in Latvia (SBK Liepaja/LSSS and Liepajas SSS).
