Astana-2 - Karaganda 64-104 No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Karaganda (13-8) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Astana-2 (2-19) 104-64. Karaganda made 26-of-29 charity shots (89.7 percent) during the game, while Astana-2 only scored six points from the stripe. Karaganda players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Daniil Severgin (178-2005) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Andrey Volkov (189-2004) helped adding 25 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Five Karaganda players scored in double figures. Karaganda's coach Alexander Tyutyunik felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Askar Serimbet (181-2006) responded with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Aset Amangeldinov (190-2003) scored 14 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
