Maksim Nalogov
Forward Aleksei Vereshagin (200-F-1992) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Kazygurt, receiving a Hoops Agents Higher League Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 39 points and 16 rebounds, while his team crushed Karaganda (#5, 12-8) with 17-point margin 89-72. It allowed Kazygurt to consolidate first place in the Kazakhstan Higher League. Kazygurt has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 19-1. In the team's last game Vereshagin had a remarkable 67.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Kazygurt, through which he has constantly improved. Aleksei Vereshagin has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.3ppg), rebounds (7th best: 8.6rpg) and averages impressive 58.9% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was young Vladislav Isaenko (193-G-2004) of Namys. Isaenko had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Namys to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked ChelSU (#8, 4-16) 79-56. Despite this victory Namys slide down in the standings to 9th position. 17 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Namys managed to get this year. Isaenko is one of the most experienced players at Namys and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
Third on the list of top players last round was forward Maksim Nalogov (198-F/C-1994) of league's second-best Bars. Nalogov got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . He was a key player of Bars, leading his team to a 63-60 win against #3 ranked Qazaqstan in a game of the week. Bars is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 18-3 record is not that bad... Nalogov has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.8ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 13.7rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.1bpg and FGP: 53.6%.

10. Balabiy Agabek (190-F-1996) of Kazygurt - 15 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
