Qazaqstan - Bars 64-63 Second defeat of league's leader Bars (12-2) against second ranked Qazaqstan (13-1) 64-63 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Bars. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Swingman Temirlan Dzhunusov (192-99) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Daniil Seleznyov (187-90) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Maksim Nalogov (198-94) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds and forward Sergey Dyatlik (194-97) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Bars. Qazaqstan have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Bars at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Qazaqstan. Karaganda held Astana-2 to an opponent 24.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 35.7 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Astana-2 45-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. Point guard Artem Andrianov (182-0) notched a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and guard Dias Kalymbetov (190-4) supported him with 20 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Even 7 points and 6 rebounds by guard Askar Serimbet (181-6) did not help to save the game for Astana-2. International guard Andrey Litvinenko (191-97) added 10 points for the hosts. Astana-2's coach Deyan Parezhanin gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Karaganda maintains fifth position with 8-6 record. Guard Vladislav Isaenko (193-4) had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Yevgeniy Kushniruk (193-98) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest.
