Namys - Kazygurt 84-105 The game with biggest result difference took place in Alma-Ata. Local Namys (2-12) were outscored by third ranked Kazygurt (12-1) 105-84 on Thursday night. Kazygurt dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Namys' 44. They outrebounded Namys 54-41 including 42 on the defensive glass. Kazygurt looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Point guard Anuar Shakirov (180-0) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners and forward Balabiy Agabek (190-96) chipped in 10 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. Five Kazygurt players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Vladislav Isaenko (193-4) responded with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Aymergen Almakhun (185-4) scored 25 points and 6 rebounds. Kazygurt have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Namys lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost. They share it with ChelSU. Kazygurt will meet ChelSU (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Namys will play against Astana-2 and it may be a tough game between close rivals. They used home court advantage to defeat ChelSU (2-12) 82-74 on Thursday. International guard Andrey Litvinenko (191-97) fired 45 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Muhammedali Sayranov (190-4) chipped in 17 points. Guard Vasiliy Belozor (186-1) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and guard Artem Pedko (191-0) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four ChelSU players scored in double figures. ChelSU's coach Elena Kireeva rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory Astana-2 went down to tenth position due to points difference. It was ChelSU's third loss in a row. ChelSU at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Namys. Astana-2 are looking forward to face higher ranked Namys (#9) in Alma-Ata in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ChelSU will play on the road against Karaganda and is hoping to win this game. They outrebounded Jambyl 45-27 including 17 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Maksim Nalogov (198-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Sergey Dyatlik (194-97) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Bars' coach Sergei Moor used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Andrey Portnyagin (181-94) answered with 29 points and guard Berik Zulharnai (183-94) added 10 points in the effort for Jambyl. Bars have a solid series of three victories in a row. Despite that victory Bars went down to third position due to points difference. Jambyl lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh place with ten games lost. Bars will play against league's leader Qazaqstan in Alma-Ata in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jambyl will have a break next round.
