An interesting game for Barsy Atyrau (22-6) which played road game in Aktau against 4th ranked Kaspiy Aktau (8-16). First ranked Barsy Atyrau managed to get a 10-point victory 77-67. Barsy Atyrau made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Barsy Atyrau outrebounded Kaspiy Aktau 41-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Vladimir Ivanov (205-94) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). point guard Oleg Balashov (181-99) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American Eugene Artison (206-95, college: USAO, agency: One Motive Sports) replied with 25 points and 6 rebounds for Kaspiy Aktau. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Barsy Atyrau have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 22-6 record.
