Bottom-ranked Aktobe managed to get the second consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time newly promoted Aktobe won against fourth-ranked Almat.Legion in Alma-Ata 96-87. Aktobe looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Kent Hanson (198-97, college: Carleton) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Vassiliy Petrishinets (198-89) helped adding 23 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side swingman Temirlan Dzhunusov (192-99) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds. Newly promoted Aktobe maintains sixth place with 3-17 record. Almat.Legion lost seventh consecutive game. Almat.Legion at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth position with 13 games lost.

In the last game of round 19 bottom-ranked Aktobe destroyed Almat.Legion on the opponent's court 94-69.

There was a minor upset in Alma-Ata where 4th placed Almat.Legion (7-13) was crushed by bottom-ranked Aktobe (3-17) 94-69 on Sunday. Aktobe forced 21 Almat.Legion turnovers and outrebounded them 53-39 including 38 on the defensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Almat.Legion helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American forward Kent Hanson (198-97, college: Carleton) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Vassiliy Petrishinets (198-89) helped adding 22 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). Four Aktobe players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Nikita Timofeev (199-98) responded with 8 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and center Daniel Albrant (205-98) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds.
