Aktobe signs Mitchell Tabet

Aktobe (National League) signed Lebanese point guard Mitchell Tabet (183cm-00, Agency: Dagger Basket). He started the 20/21 season at OKK Novi Pazar in the Serbian KLS league. The last season Tabet played at Al Moutahed (LBL) in the Lebanese league.

Mitchell has represented Lebanon at U16, U17, and U18 level and helped his nation to the Liga Mediterranean Cup of Championship in Spain three years ago. He was named to asia-basket.com All-Asian Championships 3rd team in 2017.

Tabet has played also professionally for other Lebanese teams like Beirut Club and Chabibeh Sporting Club and hm hospitales torrelodones in Spain.

Despite his young age, he has already managed to have an impressive trophy cabinet. He played in the final of the Dubai International Tournament in 2019. Tabet was also voted Sports Mania High School Player of the Year in Beirut (Lebanon) back in 2018.
