Kazakhstan Higher League round 15 best performance: Muha Nikolay (by Interperformances)

Center Muha Nikolay (212-C-99) had a very impressive game in the last round for Karaganda, receiving a Interperformances Higher League Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 21-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 22 rebounds, while his team outclassed Irtysh (#5, 8-7) with 30-point margin 86-56. Karaganda maintains the 4th position in Kazakhstan Higher League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Karaganda will need more victories to improve their 10-6 record. Nikolay just recently signed at Karaganda and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Muha Nikolay averages just after two games 15.5ppg and 15.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 27-year old Vyacheslav Raguyev (195-F-93) of MBJSM. Raguyev had a very good evening with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as MBJSM lost that game 77-83 to slightly higher-ranked Barsy 2 (#6, 5-11). MBJSM are still at the very bottom. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory MBJSM managed to get this year. Raguyev is one of the most experienced players at MBJSM and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.1ppg (#3). He also registered 11.1 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Karaganda's star - guard Dias Katarbay (183-SG-01). Katarbay scored 22 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was another key player of Karaganda, helping his team with a 86-56 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Irtysh (#5, 8-7). Katarbay has a great season in Kazakhstan. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.9ppg (8th best) and assists with 4.1apg (6th best).
