Best players of Kazakhstan National League round 12 (by Interperformances)

Roman Lagutin

Russian Roman Lagutin (195-G-95) put on an amazing game in the last round for Sinegorie K. and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 24-year old guard had the game-high 19 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Sinegorie K. in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Aktobe (#5, 3-13) with 35-point margin 93-58. Sinegorie K. maintains the 4th position in Kazakhstan National League. Sinegorie K. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-7 record. Lagutin turned to be Sinegorie K.'s top player in his first season with the team. Lagutin has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 16.0ppg) and assists (2nd best: 4.0apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 28-year old forward Sergei Bormatenkov (191-F-91) of Aktobe. Bormatenkov impressed basketball fans with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course Aktobe cruised to a 83-74 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Sinegorie K. (#4, 5-7). Aktobe's 5th position in the standings has not changed. 13 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Aktobe managed to get this year. Bormatenkov is well-known by Aktobe fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Sinegorie K.'s star - Uzbekistani Dmitry Sviridov (212-C-85). Sviridov scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Despite Sviridov's great performance Sinegorie K. lost 74-83 to slightly lower-ranked Aktobe (#5, 3-13). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The chances of Sinegorie K. ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 7 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Sviridov could help Sinegorie K. to bring them higher in the standings. Sviridov has a very solid season. In 12 games in Kazakhstan he scored 6.0ppg.
