The season just ended in Kazakhstan Division D1. Astana Tigers claimed the trophy beating Okzhetpes in the Final series. So now its the high time to trump the best players of the season.

  Astana Tigers claim the title 
Astana Tigers gained the national title in Kazakhstan after overwhelming Okzhetpes in the final series. Astana Tigers dominated the game and completed a 3-0 sweep in the championship series. The Tigers rolled to a 94:89 win in Game 1. Tatjana Kondius (186-C) paced the winners. Kristina Koldobenko provided sufficient help down the stretch.
Game 2 turned out into a pretty one-sided clash with the Astana Tigers outmuscling their opponents 84:62. The Astana outfit did not wait for too long to decide on the winner in the series bruising Okzhetpes 79:68 and finalizing a trophy success.
In the Bronze medals series Barsy Atyrau edged Kostanay.
