The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Amman United as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Amman United smashed 8th ranked Shabab Bushra at home 90-56. Amman United dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Shabab Bushra's 34. Amman United forced 24 Shabab Bushra turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Shabab Bushra's players. The former international forward Ahmad Alhamarsheh (197-1986) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Amin Abuhawwas (190-1994, college: Mars Hill) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the winners. American point guard Israel Lockamy (178, college: Lynchburg, agency: Bell Basketball) replied with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for Shabab Bushra. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Amman United (13-1) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Al Faisaly. Shabab Bushra lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 12 games lost.
Third-ranked Al Wehdat (7-7) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Al Faisaly (13-1) in Amman. The visitors managed to secure only three-point victory 93-90. However their fans expected easier game. American-Palestinian guard Brian Halums (196-1997, college: UAFS, agency: The Crew A.M.) scored 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Abdullah Olajuwon chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The former international guard Ashraf Alhendi (190-1995) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Al Faisaly keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Amman United. Al Wehdat at the other side dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost.
The game in was also quite interesting. Third ranked Al Jubaiha (8-6) played at the court of 7th ranked Al Ashrafiyah (3-11). Al Jubaiha defeated Al Ashrafiyah 77-61 on Friday. Joshua Apple notched a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 17 points and 20 rebounds by Eric Kibi did not help to save the game for Al Ashrafiyah. Al Ashrafiyah's coach Abd Alsalam rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Al Jubaiha maintains third position with 8-6 record having five points less than leader Amman United. Al Ashrafiyah lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 11 games lost.

In the last game of round 14 Al Jalil was smashed by Al Iglizia on the road 99-77.

Al Iglizia - Al Jalil 99-77

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Al Iglizia's (6-8) home victory over 6th ranked Al Jalil (4-10) 99-77 on Sunday. Al Iglizia outrebounded Al Jalil 53-40 including 38 on the defensive glass. Al Iglizia looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American swingman BJ Freeman (198-2002, college: Arizona St., agency: The Crew A.M.) notched a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists to lead the effort and Mutaz Swais supported him with 17 points. Four Al Iglizia players scored in double figures. Al Iglizia's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds by American forward Jace Hogan (198-1996, college: Jacksonville) did not help to save the game for Al Jalil. Ahmad Barbari added 12 points and 8 assists for the guests. Al Iglizia have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 6-8 record. Loser Al Jalil keeps the sixth place with ten games lost.
