Round 15 most important game was a victory of Rum over 4th placed Petra 90-81 on Wednesday night. Rum looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for international forward Hashem Abbas (198-1999, college: Bridgeport) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. American guard Hunter Strait (188-2000, college: Truman St.) contributed with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American-Jamaican center David Haye (183-1994, college: SUNY Delhi, agency: Interperformances) answered with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for Petra. Rum (9-5) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Newly promoted Rum maintains third place having just three points less than leader Geresa. Petra lost third consecutive game. Petra at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Rum are looking forward to face Arabella (#6) in the next round. Petra will play against the league's second-placed Philadelphia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

It was a great evening for American point guard Byron Maxwell (175-1993, college: LeMoyne-Owen) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Yousef Abuwazaneh helped adding 18 points and 19 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Dmonta Harris with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Geresa. Newly promoted Geresa maintains first place with 12-2 record. Arabella at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Pella. Geresa will play against Pella (#5) in the next round. Arabella will play against Rum and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

It was an exceptional evening for Zane Najdawi who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Philadelphia's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Devin Gilmore came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks for Pella in the defeat. Newly promoted Philadelphia maintains second place with 11-3 record behind leader Geresa. Pella at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Arabella. Philadelphia will meet Petra (#4) in the next round. Pella will play against the league's leader Geresa and hope to secure a win.





Arabella - Geresa 72-83
