Regular Season Round 15: Arabella - Gerasa 72-83

Premier League top team -Geresa (12-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Arabella (5-9) 83-72 . Geresa dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Arabella 's 38. It was a great evening for American point guard Byron Maxwell (175-1993, college: LeMoyne-Owen) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international center Yousef Abuwazaneh (201-1993) helped adding 18 points and 19 rebounds. Maxwell is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. The best for the losing side was Dmonta Harris with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Emmanuel Egbuta (201-1996, college: Tennessee St.) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Geresa . Newly promoted Geresa maintains first place with 12-2 record. Arabella at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Pella.
