ASU down Ittihad Schools to clinch title - Apr 22, 2013

ASU celebrated the decisive second win in the title series against Ittihad Schools and earned the Premier League title. Austin Johnson (191-G-87, agency: Edge Sports, college: Oklahoma) came up with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists to carry ASU to the triumph.
ASU dominated in the opening quarter. They posted a 24:17 lead after ten minutes. But Ittihad Schools struck right back in the second frame. They went on a 28:20 rally to grab a 45:44 halftime lead. However ASU opened the third quarter on a 14:4 run to spur ahead. They entered the fourth frame up by nine points 67:58. Ittihad Schools tried hard scoring 24 points in the fourth frame but ASU protected the lead well enough to escape with the victory at the end. Mousa Alawadi (188-G-85) provided 18 points and 8 rebounds, while Wesam Al-Sous (183-PG-83) added 16 points, 7 assists and 4 boards in the win. Mahmoud Abdeen (189-PG-87) answered with 24 points for Ittihad Schools. Malcolm Battles (205-F/C-79, college: N.Mexico) chipped in 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the losing effort.

Riyadi Clinches Jordan Cup - Dec 29, 2012

After a very Competitive game, Riyadi is the Title Holder of Jordan Cup winning over ASU 79-78 in the game took place yesterday in HRH Prince Hamza Hall in Amman.
Now Riyadi is preparing for Dubai International Tournament (10-19 Jan) with a Roster that combines Experience, Talent and Youth.

Jordanian Abroad Aeshraff Dabbas (191-F) will play as a Local along with Imports Sakakini Sani (204-C-88), Alpha Bangura (197-F/G-80, agency: Interperformances, college: St.John's) and Darrin Dorsey (188-PG, college: Dakota Wesleyan) in the Competition that will be composed from 8 Clubs: Riyadi, Sagesse and Mouttahed (Lebanon) UAE NT and Ahli Club (UAE), Smart Gilas (Philippines), Almati (Kazakhstan).
