They dominated on the defensive end, holding Five Arrows to just 4 points in fourth quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman LJ Peak (196-1996, college: Georgetown) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 9 rebounds. Lithuanian power forward Rokas Gustys (206-1994, college: Hofstra) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Jacob Lampkin (206-1996, college: Alaska-Anch.) answered with 20 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Tucker Haymond (195-1994, college: W.Michigan) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kagawa. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
