Storks outrebounded Firebonds 51-30 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. American Luke Maye (203-1997, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import Yoeli Childs (203-1998, college: BYU) accounted for 19 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. American power forward Jack Nunge (213-1999, college: Xavier) came up with 12 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and Egyptian-American center Patrick Gardner (211-1999, college: Marist) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Firebonds in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

At the losing side the former international forward Eliet Kojima-Donley (198-1996, college: Chaminade, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and American Mike Daum (206-1995, college: S.Dakota St.) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Brave Warriors players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
