Storks made 28-of-34 charity shots (82.4 percent) during the game, while Excellence only scored ten points from the stripe. Storks shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Excellence was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American Yoeli Childs (203-1998, college: BYU) nailed a double-double by scoring 29 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and point guard Shuto Terazono (172-1994) accounted for 30 points and 9 assists. Four Storks players scored in double figures. American guard Tray Boyd III (193-1998, college: ETSU) came up with 45 points (!!!) and 8 assists and the other American import forward Elyjah Williams (201-1998, college: Northwestern) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Excellence in the defeat. Excellence's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.

Firebonds made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American power forward Jack Nunge (213-1999, college: Xavier) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) chipped in 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Firebonds' coach Ryan Marchand used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard Daiki Tsuchiya (173-2000) responded with 20 points and 5 assists and American center Wayne Marshall (211-1986, college: Temple) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
