34-year old American Jack Cooley (206-C/F-1991, agency: Pensack Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 60.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds, while his team crushed Tochigi Brex (#1, 45-15) with 22-point margin 92-70. Golden Kings is placed at 3rd position in Japanese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Ryukyu will need more victories to improve their 42-18 record. Cooley has many years of experience at Golden Kings, through which he has constantly improved. University of Notre Dame graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cooley is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 9.6rpg) and averages solid 57.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Kofi Cockburn (213-C-1999) of Hiroshima Dragonflies. He is Jamaican center in his first season at Hiroshima D.. In the last game Cockburn recorded an impressive double-double of 34 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Dragonflies lost that game 91-101 to the lower-ranked Toyama G. (#13, 18-42). This loss caused Hiroshima D. to drop to 7th position in West. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 31-29 record is not bad and everything may still change. Cockburn is a newcomer at Hiroshima D. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Jarrett Culver (198-G-1999) of Sendai 89ers (#6). Culver got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He went also for thirteen rebounds . Despite Culver's great performance the 89ers lost 86-87 to the higher-ranked Gunma CT (#3, 42-18). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Sendai 89ers needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the East. Their record is 35 victories and 25 lost games. Culver has a great season in Japan. After 60 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.5ppg (best scorer).
