36-year old ITA-USAn forward Angelo Caloiaro (203-F-1989, agency: Pensack Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Kyoto Hannaryz and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 57.
He had the game-high 29 points adding six rebounds and six assists for Kyoto H. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Osaka E. (#9, 23-35) 88-78. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings in West. Hannaryz maintains the 11th position in their group in the Japanese league. Kyoto H. is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 19-39 record. In the team's last game Caloiaro had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Hannaryz and it's hard to imagine this team without him. University of San Francisco graduate has very impressive stats this year. Caloiaro is in league's top in points (7th best: 19.3ppg) and averages solid 64.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jarrett Culver (198-G-1999) of Sendai 89ers. He is American guard in his first season at Sendai 89ers. In the last game Culver recorded an impressive 37 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists. It was enough for 89ers to edge slightly lower-ranked Yokohama BC (#7, 26-32) by 6 points 100-94. Sendai 89ers' 6th position in East has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 35-23 record is not bad and everything may still change. Culver is a newcomer at Sendai 89ers and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.2ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 5.9rpg and 3.1apg.

Third place about best performers goes to center Maik-Kalev Kotsar (210-C-1996, agency: Slash Sports) of Yokohama B-Corsairs (#7). Kotsar scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Kotsar's great performance the B-Corsairs lost 94-100 to slightly higher-ranked Sendai 89ers (#6, 35-23). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Yokohama BC ranking at the top of East, however are very questionable as they have already lost 32 games, recording just twenty six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kotsar could help Yokohama BC to bring them higher in the standings. Kotsar has a very solid season. In 8 games in Japan he scored 12.0ppg. He also has 9.1rpg, 3.3apg and a FGP of 57.4%.
