29-year old American forward DJ Hogg (203-F-1996) had a great game in the last round for Chiba Jets and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 54.
He had the game-high 39 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for Chiba Jets in his team's victory, helping them to beat Hokkaido L. (#5, 34-21) 104-94. Thanks to this victory Jets moved-up to the 3rd position in Japanese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Chiba Jets will need more victories to improve their 37-18 record. In the team's last game Hogg had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 9 attempts. It's his second year at Jets and it's hard to imagine this team without him. DJ Hogg averages this season 16.1ppg and 6.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Jack Cooley (206-C/F-1991, agency: Pensack Sports) of Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa. He is American in his 7th season at Ryukyu GK. In the last game Cooley recorded an impressive double-double of 34 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led Golden Kings to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked San-en NP (#5, 33-22) 102-82. Ryukyu's 4th position in West has not changed. His team's 38-17 record is not bad at all. Cooley is one of the most experienced players at Ryukyu and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward John Harrar (205-F-1999) of Levanga Hokkaido Sapporo (#5). Harrar showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Harrar's great performance the Sapporo lost 94-104 to slightly higher-ranked Chiba Jets (#3, 37-18). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Hokkaido L. needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the East. Their record is 34 victories and 21 lost games. Harrar has a very solid season. In 44 games in Japan he scored 11.0ppg. He also has 8.0rpg and a FGP of 57.8%.
