27-year old USA-GERn power forward Ryan Kriener (208-F/C-1998, agency: Pensack Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for Shiga Lakestars and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 51.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Chiba Jets (#3, 35-17) 72-67. Lakestars maintains the 9th position in their group in the Japanese league. Shiga L-Stars is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 21-31 record. In the team's last game Kriener had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Lakestars' top player in his first season with the team. Ryan Kriener averages this season 14.8ppg and 6.1rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Trey Kell III (193-G-1996, agency: Slash Sports) of Toyama Grouses. He is Syrian-American guard in his first season at Toyama G.. In the last game Kell III recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Grouses lost that game 66-85 to the higher-ranked Tochigi Brex (#1, 39-13). Toyama G. managed to keep the same 13th spot in East. 40 lost games are too many comparing to just twelve victories Grouses managed to get this year. Kell III is a newcomer at Toyama G. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.7ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 6.5rpg and 4.1apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Jarrett Culver (198-G-1999) of Sendai 89ers (#6). Culver got into 30-points club by scoring 39 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds . He was a key player of 89ers, leading his team to a 104-98 win against San-en NP (31-21). Sendai 89ers needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in East. Their record at this point is 31 victories and 21 lost games. Culver has a great season in Japan. After 52 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.4ppg (best scorer).

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
