American Forward Victor Law (201-F-1995, agency: Pensack Sports) had a great game in the last round for Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 49.
The 30-year old player was the main contributor (38 points, seven rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Hokkaido L. (#5, 31-18) 91-82. Golden Kings maintains the 4th position in their group in the Japanese B1 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Ryukyu will need more victories to improve their 34-15 record. In the team's last game Law had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Golden Kings, through which he has constantly improved. Victor Law averages this season 16.7ppg and 7.1rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Nassir Little (199-F-2000, agency: Pensack Sports) of league's second-best Chiba Jets. Little had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 16 rebounds. It was enough for Jets to edge the lower-ranked Hiroshima D. (#6, 28-21) 100-96. Chiba Jets' second position in East has not changed. His team's 33-16 record is not bad at all. Little is a newcomer at Chiba Jets, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Yante Maten (201-F-1996) of San-en NeoPhoenix (#5). Maten showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Maten's great performance the NeoPhoenix lost 82-84 to the lower-ranked Ibaraki R. (#11, 15-34). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing San-en NP needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the West. Their record is 29 victories and 20 lost games. Maten has a great season in Japan. After 26 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.5ppg (7th best). He also has 1.1bpg and a FGP of 59.1%.
