28-year old American shooting guard Rawle Alkins (197-SG-1997) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Kumamoto Volters and receives a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 54.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Shizuoka (#7, 14-40) 89-80. Volters is placed at 2nd position in Japanese B2 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Kumamoto V. will need more victories to improve their 35-19 record. Alkins turned to be Volters's top player in his first season with the team. University of Arizona graduate has very impressive stats this year. Alkins is in league's top in points (7th best: 18.2ppg), assists (2nd best: 5.5apg) and averages solid 51.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jaemyn Brakefield (203-F-2000, agency: Slash Sports) of Bambitious Nara. He is American forward in his first season at Bambitious N.. In the last game Brakefield recorded an impressive double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Nara to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Aomori W. (#7, 11-43) 93-69. Bambitious's 6th position in West has not changed. 38 lost games are too many comparing to just sixteen victories Nara managed to get this year. Brakefield is a newcomer at Bambitious and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.5ppg (#2). He also registered 7.1 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Tray Boyd III (193-G-1998) of Yokohama Excellence (#3). Boyd III got into 30-points club by scoring 42 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . Despite Boyd III's great performance the Excellence lost 81-85 to #1 ranked Shinshu BW. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Yokohama needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the East. Their record is 33 victories and 18 lost games. Boyd III has a great season in Japan. After 50 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 28.4ppg (best scorer).
