31-year old Spanish power forward Sebastian Saiz (205-PF-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Alvark Tokyo and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 48.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 19 rebounds, while his team crushed Akita NH (#13, 8-41) with 17-point margin 85-68. Alvark maintains the 4th position in their group in the Japanese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Alvark Tokyo will need more victories to improve their 32-17 record. In the team's last game Saiz had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Alvark, through which he has constantly improved. Sebastian Saiz averages this season 17.4ppg and 7.4rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Rosco Allen (208-PF-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) of Kawasaki Brave Thunders. He is Hungarian-American forward in his 3rd season at Kawasaki BT. In the last game Allen recorded an impressive 25 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Brave Thunders lost that game 71-85 to the higher-ranked Yokohama BC (#8, 20-29). Kawasaki managed to keep the same 12th spot in East. 35 lost games are too many comparing to just fourteen victories Brave Thunders managed to get this year. Allen is one of the most experienced players at Kawasaki and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard DJ Newbill (193-G-1992) of league's leader Link Tochigi Brex Utsunomiya. Newbill showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Tochigi Brex, leading his team to a 91-75 easy win against the lower-ranked Kyoto H. (#11, 16-33). Tochigi Brex confirms their top position in West. Their record at this point is 37 victories and 12 lost games. Newbill has a great season in Japan. After 48 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.5ppg (8th best) and assists with 6.3apg (best passer). He also has a FGP of 64.8% and 3PT: 40.5%.
