27-year old American power forward Yoeli Childs (203-PF-1998) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Kobe Storks and receives a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 51.
He had a double-double of 20 points and 21 rebounds, while his team beat Fukuoka R. (#5, 20-29) 74-63. It allowed Storks to consolidate first place in the Japanese B2 League. Kobe S. has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 46-5. In the team's last game Childs had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Storks's top player in his first season with the team. Brigham Young University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Childs is in league's top in points (3rd best: 20.9ppg) and averages solid 54.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Viacheslav Petrov (204-C-1994, agency: BIG) of Bambitious Nara. He is Ukrainian center in his first season at Bambitious N.. In the last game Petrov recorded an impressive 33 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Nara lost that game 84-96 to the higher-ranked Fukushima (#2, 37-14). Bambitious managed to keep the same 6th spot in East. 36 lost games are too many comparing to just fifteen victories Nara managed to get this year. Petrov is a newcomer at Bambitious and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Pablo Aguilar (204-PF-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) of Fukuoka Rizing (#5). Aguilar scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Despite Aguilar's great performance the Rizing lost 63-74 to the higher-ranked Kobe S. (#1, 46-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Fukuoka R. ranking at the top of West, however are very questionable as they have already lost 29 games, recording just twenty victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Aguilar could help Fukuoka R. to bring them higher in the standings. Aguilar has a great season in Japan. After 45 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.3rpg (4th best).
