The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Tochigi Brex (34-12) on the court of fifth ranked Sapporo on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Sapporo 108-89. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tochigi Brex. Hokkaido L. made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Tochigi Brex 36-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. Hokkaido L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hokkaido L. (30-16) moved-up to third place, which they share with Alvark Tokyo and Gunma CT. Defending champion Tochigi Brex still keeps top position with 12 games lost. Hokkaido L. is looking forward to face Ibaraki R. (#11) in Mito in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Saga B. won against Ibaraki R. at home 90-86. Kawasaki unfortunately lost to Sea Horses M. on the opponent's court 72-84. Sunrockers Sh. recorded a loss to Ryukyu in a home game 77-83. Shiga L-Stars defeated Toyama G. on the road 79-71. Yokohama BC beat Koshigaya A. on its own court 96-93.
