The former international center Maki Takada (185-1989) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Mai Kawai (172-1996) contributed with 8 points and 7 assists for the winners. The former international forward Yuki Miyazawa (183-1993, college: Queens, NY) replied with 8 points and 8 rebounds and Nigerian center Mfon Joshua (190-1999) added 11 points in the effort for Fujitsu RW. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

The best player for the winners was Nigerian center Jessica Wariebimo (188-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds. point guard Nanami Tsuno (159-2004) chipped in 10 points and 8 assists. Nigerian center Amaka Okonkwo (186-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and the former international point guard Mai Yamamoto (163-1999) added 13 points and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
