American Power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-F/C-1996, agency: One Motive Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Tokushima Gambarous, receiving a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 45.
The 29-year old player was the main contributor (40 points, three rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Gifu (#10, 18-24) 79-74. Gambarous maintains the 3rd position in Japanese B3 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Tokushima Gam. will need more victories to improve their 34-10 record. In the team's last game Dawson had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range and got eight three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He has many years of experience at Gambarous, through which he has constantly improved. Former California State University Northridge star has very solid stats this year. Dawson is in league's top in points (3rd best: 21.0ppg) and averages impressive 63.0% FGP and 41.6% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young Spanish David Doblas (208-C-1981) of Veertien Mie. Doblas had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Veertien Mie lost that game 75-105 to the higher-ranked Kagawa FA (#1, 35-7). Veertien Mie are still at the very bottom. 35 lost games are too many comparing to just seven victories Veertien Mie managed to get this year. Doblas is a newcomer at Veertien Mie, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Jordan Faison (201-F-1994, agency: 011 Sports) of Tokyo United (#8). Faison showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists in the last round. He was a key player of United, leading his team to a 81-73 win against the higher-ranked Okayama (#4, 27-15). The chances of Tokyo Utd ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 22 games, recording just twenty victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Faison could help Tokyo Utd to bring them higher in the standings. Faison has a great season in Japan. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 4.0apg (7th best).
