29-year old American forward Yante Maten (201-F-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for San-en NeoPhoenix and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 42.
He had a double-double of 28 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Saga B. (#7, 21-21) 96-91. NeoPhoenix maintains the 6th position in their group in the Japanese league. San-en NP is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 23-19 record. Maten has many years of experience at NeoPhoenix, through which he has constantly improved. University of Georgia graduate has very impressive stats this year. Maten is in league's top in points (7th best: 19.2ppg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 59.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Trey Porter (210-F-1996, agency: JCK Sports Group) of Altiri Chiba. He is American forward in his second season at Chiba. In the last game Porter recorded an impressive double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Chiba lost that game 81-87 to the higher-ranked Alvark Tokyo (#3, 30-12). Chiba managed to keep the same 10th spot in East. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 14-28 record. Porter is well-known at Chiba and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Sebastian Saiz (205-PF-1994) of Alvark Tokyo (#3). Saiz scored 21 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Alvark, leading his team to a 87-81 win against the lower-ranked Chiba (#10, 14-28). Alvark Tokyo needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in East. Their record at this point is 30 victories and 12 lost games. Saiz has a very solid season. In 41 games in Japan he scored 17.6ppg. He also has 7.1rpg and a FGP of 59.3%.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
