27-year old American power forward Yoeli Childs (203-PF-1998) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Kobe Storks and receives a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 38.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed Shizuoka (#7, 6-32) with 17-point margin 82-65. It allowed Storks to consolidate first place in the Japanese B2 League. Kobe S. have a solid 34-4 record. In the team's last game Childs had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Storks's top player in his first season with the team. Brigham Young University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Childs is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.2ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 11.0rpg) and averages solid 54.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Anthony Gaines Jr. (195-G/F-1993) of Kagoshima Rebnise. He is American swingman in his 5th season at Kagoshima. In the last game Gaines Jr. recorded an impressive double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led Rebnise to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Bambitious N. (#6, 13-25) 93-68. Kagoshima's 3rd position in West has not changed. His team's 20-17 record is not bad at all. Gaines Jr. is one of the most experienced players at Kagoshima and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.8ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 8.1rpg and 4.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to center Nigel Spikes (208-C-1989) of Bambitious Nara (#6). Spikes scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Spikes' great performance the Nara lost 68-93 to the higher-ranked Kagoshima (#3, 20-17). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Bambitious not to end season at such low position in West, however are less than slim as they have already lost 25 games, recording just thirteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Spikes could try to bring Bambitious N.' a little bit higher in the standings. Spikes has individually a great season in Japan. After 38 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.0rpg (8th best). He also has 1.1bpg and a FGP of 52.1%.
