American Tavrion Dawson (202-F/C-1996, agency: One Motive Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Tokushima Gambarous and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents B3 League Player of the Week award for round 37.
The 29-year old power forward had a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Yamaguchi (#13, 10-28) 91-76. It allowed Gambarous to consolidate first place in the Japanese B3 League. Tokushima Gam. have a solid 29-7 record. In the team's last game Dawson had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He has many years of experience at Gambarous, through which he has constantly improved. California State University Northridge graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dawson is in league's top in points (3rd best: 20.3ppg) and averages solid 60.2% FGP and 43.3% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Lithuanian power forward Rokas Gustys (206-F/C-1994) of Tachikawa Dice. Gustys impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 19 rebounds. Of course he led Dice to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Shinagawa (#14, 8-28) 93-72. Tachikawa's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 19-15 record is not bad and everything may still change. Gustys is a newcomer at Tachikawa and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Josh Scott (210-C/F-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) of Okayama Try Hoop (#4). Scott scored 16 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Try Hoop, leading his team to a 80-64 easy win against the lower-ranked Gifu (#8, 18-18). Okayama needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 23 victories and 13 lost games. Scott has a great season in Japan. After 36 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.0rpg (5th best).
