American Forward Dwayne Evans (201-F-1992, agency: Pensack Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Hiroshima Dragonflies, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 37.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Akita NH (#13, 7-30) 79-69. Dragonflies maintains the 5th position in their group in the Japanese B1 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Hiroshima D. will need more victories to improve their 21-16 record. In the team's last game Evans had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Dragonflies, through which he has constantly improved. Dwayne Evans averages this season 15.5ppg, 7.6rpg and 4.6apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Cuban Reynaldo Garcia (187-G-1990) of Saga Ballooners. Garcia had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Ballooners to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Toyama G. (#13, 9-28) 91-69. Saga B.'s 6th position in West has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 21-16 record is not bad and everything may still change. Garcia is one of the most experienced players at Saga B. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Kerry Blackshear Jr. (208-F-1997) of Gunma Crane Thunders (#5). Blackshear Jr. scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Thunders, leading his team to a 84-68 easy win against the lower-ranked Osaka E. (#9, 15-22). Gunma CT needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in West. Their record at this point is 24 victories and 13 lost games. Blackshear Jr. has a very solid season. In 35 games in Japan he scored 15.9ppg. He also has 7.7rpg, 4.4apg and a FGP of 62.7%.
