29-year old American Stanley Johnson (201-SF-1996) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Nagasaki Velca and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 36.
He had the game-high 25 points adding seven rebounds and six assists for Nagasaki in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Tochigi Brex (#1, 27-10) with 30-point margin 105-75. It allowed Velca to consolidate first place in the Japanese league. Nagasaki have a solid 31-6 record. In the team's last game Johnson had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Velca's top player in his first season with the team. University of Arizona graduate has very impressive stats this year. Johnson is in league's top in points (4th best: 22.2ppg) and averages solid 53.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Yante Maten (201-F-1996) of San-en NeoPhoenix. He is American forward in his 4th season at San-en NP. In the last game Maten recorded an impressive 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led NeoPhoenix to another comfortable win 88-74 over slightly lower-ranked Yokohama BC (#9, 13-24) being unquestionably team leader. San-en NP's 8th position in East has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 18-19 record. Maten is one of the most experienced players at San-en NP and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward David Dudzinski (205-PF-1992) of Saga Ballooners (#6). Dudzinski scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Ballooners, leading his team to a 92-67 easy win against the lower-ranked Toyama G. (#13, 9-28). Saga B. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in West. Their record at this point is 21 victories and 16 lost games. Dudzinski has a very solid season. In 37 games in Japan he scored 15.1ppg. He also has 5.9rpg and a FGP of 60.2%.
