25-year old American forward Jaemyn Brakefield (203-F-2000, agency: Slash Sports) had a great game in the last round for Bambitious Nara and receives a Hoops Agents B2 League Player of the Week award for round 34.
He had the game-high 27 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for Bambitious N. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Shizuoka (#7, 6-28) 70-57. Nara maintains the 6th position in their group in the Japanese B2 League. Bambitious is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-21 record. In the team's last game Brakefield had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Nara's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Mississippi graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brakefield is in league's top in points (2nd best: 23.6ppg) and averages solid 57.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Rapolas Ivanauskas (208-F-1998, agency: Slash Sports) of Fukui Blowinds. He is Lithuanian forward in his first season at Fukui B.. In the last game Ivanauskas recorded an impressive double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Blowinds lost that game 95-100 to slightly higher-ranked Kagoshima (#3, 18-15). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in West. Fukui B. still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 18-16 record is not bad at all. Ivanauskas is a newcomer at Fukui B. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Kenny Manigault (195-G/F-1991) of league's second-best Fukushima Firebonds. Manigault scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of Firebonds, leading his team to a 83-74 win against the lower-ranked Yamagata (#6, 8-26). Fukushima needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in East. Their record at this point is 26 victories and 8 lost games. Manigault has a great season in Japan. After 32 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.6apg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Angus Brandt (208-C-1989) of Shizuoka - 11 points, 18 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Ryan Kelly (211-PF-1991) of Fukui B. - 20 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Anthony Gaines Jr. (195-G/F-1993) of Kagoshima - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
